Last year I went and checked out Sea Lion caves near Florence Oregon. You take this crazy elevator deep down into a giant sea cave and inside are thousands upon thousands of sea lions all sprawled lying on each other, vying for space.. It was pretty eerie. The ominous churning waters, mind-boggling over-crowding and the dark claustrophobic setting really gave me a vision of hell but I'm not a sea lion and I reconciled that it was actually probably pretty Eden-like for them.
And then I checked out the trailer for The Cove (via the Wend blog). Now, that is hell. And we're all going somewhere similar if this type of thing continues...
