American Winter

Filmed in Portland, American Winter documents the plight of impoverished families during the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and highlights just how quick the descent from 'middle class' to poverty can be in this country. I believe the filmmakers found most of these families from 211 which is an excellent resource, if you know someone in need.
