Dylan, son of a wave, was the first human being to willingly follow the
sea folk into the water immediately after his baptism. Many ages later
in the summer of 1943 Gran's twin sister Hannah followed him after a
stray German bomb that was aimed at Swansea docks blew her off the
cliffs above Langland Bay.
In 1984 Gran's telepathic twin grandchildren, Owen and Bronwen,
discover that Hannah is still tempting children below the surface to
their early deaths with the promise of eternal underwater life away from
the confusion of adolesence and the surface.
