It is a never an ending quest, the search for that one board that finds the balance between your strengths and weaknesses, aspirations and limitations, fantasy and reality. It is a little bit more special when you get to slash a few grinds and drink a couple of beers with the shaper of your next surfboard, when you get to shake hands and share a laugh or two with the craftsman whose going to try and turn your abstract nonsense into something functional. The term gets over-used a lot but yeah, stoked.
